Meet the Team

Reg Piquette
Built on Experience. Focused on Quality. Personal from Start to Finish.
Reg Piquette, founder of Quality Contracting, was born and raised in Verner, Ontario. Raised on a dairy farm, he learned the value of hard work and taking pride in a job well done from an early age.
After high school, Reg began his career with his family’s company, gaining hands-on experience in the window, door, and renovation industry and learning the business from the ground up.
In 1996, Reg founded Quality Contracting with a simple goal: to provide homeowners with quality workmanship, honest advice, fair pricing, and a pressure-free experience.
Thirty years later, that same philosophy remains at the heart of the business. Every project starts with Reg. He personally meets with homeowners, takes the measurements, prepares the estimate, and stays involved throughout the installation process.
Reg takes the time to listen, answer questions, and help customers choose options that make sense for their home and budget. There are no high-pressure sales tactics—just straightforward advice backed by decades of experience.
With a lifetime in the industry and 30 years at the helm of Quality Contracting, Reg brings experience and genuine commitment to every project, providing the quality and service he would expect for his own home.
Quality workmanship. Honest advice. Personal service. Since 1996.

How We Work — From First Call to Final Walkthrough

Step 1: You Call, Reg Answers
No automated system. No receptionist screening calls. When you phone Quality Contracting, you’re talking to the owner. Reg will ask about your project, answer your questions, and set up a time that works for you.
Step 2: The In-Home Estimate
Reg comes to your home, takes precise measurements, examines the condition of your existing windows, doors, or siding, and talks to you about what you need—not what he wants to sell. You get an honest assessment, an upfront price, and zero pressure. Take your time deciding.
Step 3: The Installation
When you’re ready, our WSIB-insured crew shows up on time with tarps down before the first tool comes out. Every installation follows our meticulous checklist:
- Verify all products are correct size, style, and specification
- Check for rotting wood and wet insulation BEFORE new materials go up
- Foam insulation around entire frame perimeter—no cold spots, no moisture paths
- Complete exterior capping, caulking, and weathersealing
- Operation and maintenance demonstration before we leave
- Daily cleanup and removal of all refuse and old materials
Step 4: The Walkthrough
Before we consider a job done, we walk through every detail with you. We show you how to operate and maintain your new products. We make sure everything meets our standard—and yours. If something isn’t right, we fix it before we leave.
Step 5: The Warranty That Sticks
The job doesn’t end at the final walkthrough. Years from now, if something needs attention, you call the same number. Reg’s team handles it—not a warranty department in another province.

Frequently Asked Questions
A: Reg Piquette founded Quality Contracting in 1996. That’s 30 years of serving West Nipissing homeowners from the same address—89 Principal Street, Verner, Ontario.
A: Yes. Every single one. There is no sales team at Quality Contracting. Reg personally visits your home, takes measurements, assesses the existing conditions, and provides your estimate. The person giving you the quote is the same person who stands behind the work.
A: By choice. Reg tried running three crews years ago and found that the quality suffered. He went back to his core team—Blair and Marc—because he’d rather do fewer jobs right than more jobs fast. Every project gets his personal attention.
A: Yes. Every crew member is fully WSIB-insured, and we carry $5 million in liability insurance. If anything were to happen on your property during an installation, you’re protected.
A: Product warranties only matter if the installer is still around to honour them. At Quality Contracting, even after the manufacturer’s warranty runs its course, we’re still in your corner. As long as we’re in town, you’re covered—and Reg isn’t going anywhere.
A: Yes. We offer financing up to $100,000 through Financeit with quick approval. Find out if you qualify in seconds—no obligation, no commitment. Combining windows, doors, and siding into one project with a single monthly payment is more affordable than most homeowners expect.
A: Our home base is Verner, and our core service area is West Nipissing. We also serve North Bay, Callander, Powassan, Warren, Field, River Valley, and surrounding communities. Our trucks are on Highway 17 daily. Distance is never an issue within our service area—you get the same meticulous installation and the same Warranty That Sticks.
A: No. We specialize in exterior renovations—windows, doors, and siding. That focus is deliberate. Rather than being mediocre at ten things, we’re exceptional at three. It’s the same philosophy that keeps our crew small and our quality high.
